Glow-in-the-Dark Bike Backpack
Here’s a pretty cool backpack I found while cruising the internet, that’s great for day and night riding, especially in the city. This would be the perfect gift for a bike messenger or courier, except that I don’t think it’s being produced (yet).
It was designed by Vanessa Marie Design but not much information is available about where you can buy one.
According to her website,
a *safety chic* backpack with (hidden) versatility. the flaps have magnets inside of them with 3M Scotchlite material on the underside. during the day the flaps are held in place magnetically and at night – before jumping on your bike – you flip them up to become super visible.
Pretty neat! If you’re looking for bike backpacks (even the highly sought-after Ogio Backpack) check em out here.

4funcycles.com
In my travels as a budding internet entrepeneur I regularly come across other people with similar interests and motives. My most recent find is http://www.4funcycles.com/ . It’s a new(ish) site that seems to have promise. It’s part blog, part shop – what a great idea
and well-written. Which is a huge compliment in the “blogosphere”. I’m particularly interested to see what pops up in the “Commuting Tips” section! Something all of us city-dwellers could really use. So if you get bored around here, now that my database has crashed and I’ve had to start all over again (wahhhh), check em out. C ya!
